Why patients choose Bubolo

Two decades of medicine, focused on results you can actually measure.

Physician-Supervised

A physician reviews your labs and builds the plan — not an app, not a questionnaire, not a coach working from a script.

Measured, Not Guessed

Body composition analysis shows what you are actually losing — fat versus muscle — instead of one number on a scale.

Local & In-Person

Seen right here in Acworth or Marietta by a team that knows you by name. Virtual follow-ups available for Georgia residents.

Built To Last

The plan includes maintenance. Losing the weight is half the work; we plan for keeping it off from day one.

Who you’ll actually see

A real clinical team in Acworth and Marietta — not a call centre.

What it costs to start

Published monthly pricing, with or without medication.

Program without medication

$425 a month, $276 a month as a member — visits, body composition scans, B12 injections and essential vitamins.

Program with medication

With semaglutide $575 a month, $374 as a member. With tirzepatide $795 a month, $517 as a member — medication included, dispensed in our office.

Longer plans cost less

Three, six and twelve month plans reduce the monthly cost and add body contouring treatments. We will lay the options out at your consultation.

Bubolo Care

Our membership. Members pay member rates across everything we do, and it usually pays for itself inside the first plan. We will show you the difference on your own numbers at the consultation.

No surprise billing. The consultation is free, and if lab work or medication is prescribed the cost is explained to you before anything is ordered.

What your first visit looks like

No mystery, no pressure. Here is exactly what happens.

1

We listen

What you have tried, what worked, what did not, and what you actually want to change. A physician, not a sales pitch.

2

We measure

Lab work and a body composition scan give us real numbers — so the plan fits your physiology, not a template.

3

We plan together

You leave knowing your options and what each one involves, including cost. No obligation to start.

What it costs to find out: the initial consultation is free. If lab work or
any treatment is prescribed, the cost is explained to you before anything is ordered or
scheduled — so nothing is a surprise.

What’s included

One program, not a prescription and a goodbye.

Medication dispensed here

Prescriptions are filled in the office rather than mailed — no pharmacy trip, no waiting on a shipment to arrive.

Weekly one-on-one visits

Not a monthly check-in. Every week you sit down with someone who knows your chart and adjusts what is not working.

Nutrition & coaching

The eating and movement side, worked out with you — because the medication is the smaller half of keeping it off.

Progress you can see

Body composition tracked visit to visit, so you know whether you are losing fat or muscle instead of guessing from a scale.

A maintenance plan

Built in from day one. Losing the weight is half the work; the plan covers what happens after you hit the goal.

What we prescribe

Which medication — if any — depends on your labs, your history and what you have already tried. A physician makes that call with you.

GLP-1 medications

Semaglutide and tirzepatide, the class most patients come in asking about. Prescribed and monitored by a physician here, and dispensed in our office rather than shipped from a website — so the person adjusting your dose is the person you sit down with.

Metformin

Long established and well understood. Often the right place to start when your bloodwork points to insulin resistance, and frequently prescribed alongside the rest of your plan.

Peptide therapy

Prescribed where your labs support it and explained in full before anything is ordered. It is not a fit for everyone, which is exactly why it starts with bloodwork.

Lipo-B12 injections

Vitamin and amino acid injections used alongside your plan when they fit what your labs show.

Or none at all

Medication is one tool, not the whole plan, and it is not always indicated. Plenty of patients do well without it — a physician will tell you plainly which group you are in.

Already looking at an online program?

Most people who call us have a tab open on a mail-order GLP-1 service. Here is the honest difference.

A physician, not a questionnaire

Your labs and your history are read by a doctor who can also tell you when medication is not the right answer. Online programs are built to say yes.

Dispensed here, not mailed

Prescriptions are filled in the office. No shipment to wait on, no cold-chain gamble, no week of guessing whether the package arrives before your next dose.

Measured, not self-reported

Body composition scans and lab work show whether you are losing fat or muscle — a distinction a bathroom scale and an app cannot make.

Already on a GLP-1 somewhere else? Moving your care here is one of the most common reasons people call. Bring your current medication, your dose and any recent labs to the consultation.

Common Questions

What makes this different from a commercial diet program?

A physician supervises your care and the plan is built on your lab work and body composition, not a one-size-fits-all menu. If something in your bloodwork is working against you, we find it and address it.

Do I have to be on medication to enroll?

No. Medication is one tool among several, and it is not always indicated. Your plan is built around your labs and your history — many patients succeed without it. Any options are discussed with you by a physician first.

Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide?

Yes, when they are clinically appropriate for you. A physician reviews your labs and your history before anything is prescribed, and your dose is reviewed at a weekly in-person visit rather than left to you between refills. Prescriptions are filled in our office instead of mailed.

What is a GLP-1, and is one right for me?

GLP-1 is short for glucagon-like peptide-1 — a hormone your body already makes that helps regulate appetite and blood sugar. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription medicines that act on the same pathway, which is why they quiet hunger. Whether one is right for you depends on your bloodwork, your history and what you have already tried. A physician reviews all three first, and plenty of patients do well without medication at all.

Do you offer weight loss injections?

Yes. GLP-1 medication is given as a weekly injection, and we dispense it here rather than mailing it to you. B12 and essential vitamin injections are part of the program as well. What is appropriate for you is decided by a physician after your bloodwork comes back.

I am already on a GLP-1 somewhere else. Can I move my care here?

Yes, and it is a common reason people call. Bring your current medication and dose and any recent lab work to the consultation. A physician will review where you are before deciding whether to continue, adjust or change anything.

What does the first visit cost?

The initial consultation is free. If lab work or treatment is prescribed, we explain the cost to you before anything is ordered or scheduled.

Can any of this be done virtually?

Much of it, yes. For Georgia residents, check-ins and follow-ups can happen over secure video. Some elements, like lab draws, are done in person at our Acworth or Marietta clinic.

How quickly will I see results?

That depends on your starting point, your labs, and your plan — which is exactly why we measure first. Your physician will give you a realistic picture at your consultation rather than a number from an advertisement.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Often, yes. Medically supervised weight care treats a diagnosed condition, which is why many patients are able to use HSA or FSA funds toward visits, labs and covered medications. We can provide documentation for your plan. Your plan administrator makes the final call, so check with them before you spend.

Can I spread the cost out?

Yes. We offer in-house payment plans, and we accept PatientFi and Cherry. You will see the cost in writing before you commit to anything.

Where are you located?

Acworth (3889 Cobb Parkway NW) and Marietta (620 Cherokee St NE, Suite 250), serving Kennesaw, Woodstock, Cartersville, Dallas, Smyrna, East Cobb and the northwest Atlanta metro.
