Hair loss in women is different
Around half of women experience noticeable hair loss in their lifetime, and
it rarely looks like the male pattern most clinics photograph.
It does not look like male pattern loss
Many women see a widening part or diffuse thinning across the top. Others lose hair along the hairline, the temples and the edges. Both are common, and each changes what a good result looks like and how it is planned.
The cause matters first
Thyroid, iron, hormones and medication can all drive shedding, and none of them are fixed by surgery. Years of tension from braids, weaves, extensions or tight styling is another common cause — caught early, easing the tension can be enough; left long enough, the follicle does not come back on its own. We look for all of it before discussing a transplant, because treating the cause sometimes settles it.

stable donor area, and diffuse thinning can affect that too. We will tell you plainly
if surgery is not the right answer for you.

Common Questions
Am I a candidate?
It depends on your pattern of loss and how much donor hair you have. That is the first thing our hair restoration specialists and physician check at your consultation, and you will get a straight answer either way.
How long until I see results?
Transplanted hair typically sheds first, then begins regrowing after a few months. Most of the visible result develops between nine and twelve months.
How much downtime is there?
Most people are back to desk work within a few days. You will get specific aftercare instructions based on the size of your procedure.
Will I have to shave my head?
No. The technique we use does not require shaving the whole scalp.
Is it painful?
The procedure is done under local anaesthetic. Most patients describe the day as long rather than painful.
